Handball

Handball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of seven players each (six outfield players and one goalkeeper), aim to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court with a goal at each end, and it involves both physical agility and strategic teamwork. Players can use their hands to pass, dribble, and shoot the ball while attempting to evade defenders. The objective is to score more goals than the opposing team within a set timeframe, usually two halves of 30 minutes each. Handball is popular in several regions, particularly in Europe, and is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF), which organizes major competitions such as the World Championships and the Olympic Games.
